Science Illustration

As a scientist, I am trained to collect and organize data; logically think through possibilities and problems; read, write, edit, and distill important information; and present solutions to stakeholders, policy makers, and funding bodies. As hard as I try, I can never quite measure it all, or quantitatively capture an organism's or landscape's beauty. To me, this is where art comes in.

I am a self-taught artist; I have been drawing the world around me for as long as I can remember. I specialize in traditional ink illustrations, but frequently use Procreate and Adobe Creative Suites for freelance work.
